A Man and His Willie
Since 1961, W! has responded to the often strange and sometimes bizarre requests of its customers by secretly performing all types of printing and graphic miracles.
It was a steamy night in Georgia (actually it was a cold evening in DC and the smell of cigarettes filled the room but back then who knew the dangers of second-hand smoke?) when they met. She, a dame from England, he, a damn Yankee. Their eyes locked as they gazed at one another for what seemed an eternity. Finally, he spoke. "Anytime you need anything crazy, give me a call" [he was an odd man]. A week later the phone rang. "Make me a big Willie" came the request. He was on it like a tacky decal (or in laymen's terms, a cheap suit) and in no time at all, Willie was born (actually he had to work up sketches, create a model, source the materials, book a DC6 and do about 100 other things to get the job done, but this is the condensed version, so let's leave it at that).
“It is with pleasure that I recommend Brad, and his company, Warren Impact! Whether you're looking for a simple brochure, a premium item, or something totally out-of-the-box, they are your go-to-vendor. For example, once I had my creative team come to me, and ask if I could figure out how to place a boat shoe in a bottle--they meant a full-size actual boat shoe. The first person I thought of was Brad. Well, after much research, and some trial and error, he made it happen, complete with a stand for the bottle. Another project he worked on, was a huge neon sign for the Arnold main lobby. As a print buyer, I do not know much about neon signs, electricity, etc., but working with Brad is like having all this knowledge. He knows a lot about a lot of different things, and if he doesn't, he researches and makes the appropriate calls, etc. to gain that knowledge. I highly recommend Brad and Warren Impact!” – Karen Hennessey, Print Production Specialist, Cambridge Bio Marketing
